Novice Squad
This squad is for divers of any age who have developed the skills to compete at club competitions and are learning and perfecting their dives to represent the club at Regional and National events.

Skills Squad
Our skills squad is for divers aged 14-18 who are focusing on developing their dive list for club and regional level competitions

Development Squad
This squad is for divers aged 12-14 who are focusing on developing their dive list for club and regional level competitions.

Stars Squad
Stars is our largest squad and is separated into two smaller groups. These divers, aged 10-11, are training to compete in club competitions while learning the dives required for regional competitions.

Mini Stars Squad
This squad is for divers aged 6-9 who already have the basic skills and are learning their competition dives, in preparation to attend their first few competitions.

Rippers Squad
Our Rippers squad is for divers under 16 who have shown the qualities of a squad diver. They focus on learning dives for competitions or transitioning from the learn to dive scheme into squads.

TID Squad
Our club runs an annual Talent Identification Scheme where our coaches visit local primary schools for Phase 1 to test children aged 6-9 on their coordination, flexibility, and strength. Anyone who shows promise gets invited to Phase 2 at the pool to test their ability to learn the basics of diving. This squad has the divers who stood out in both phases 1 and 2. Their aim is to perfect the basics, build strength, and most importantly, have fun!

Training Essentials
Here are the essentials for every training session.
Tops:

T-shirt must be a sport wear style including short sleeve t-shirts or a sports wear vest top.

If possible, please wear your club t-shirt. These can be purchased from the club commitee.

Not appropriate - crop tops, button shirts, and low cut tops.
Trousers/Shorts:

Mid-thigh length shorts.

Leggings.
-
Joggers (please consider the temperature if training is on poolside).
Footwear:

Trainers and socks.
-
Not appropriate - sliders, flip flops and crocs cannot be the divers only footwear. Should the environment be unsuitable for barefoot training, these shoes are unstable and unsafe.
Swimwear:

Girls
-
Sports style well fitted swimming costume with a hole in the back. This should cover all personal parts of your body.

Not appropriate - Bikinis, beachwear/holiday costumes.

Boys

Sports style well fitted trunks and can be longer or shorter leg design.

Additional:

Long hair must be tied back.

A water bottle is essential for the divers health and safety. There are water fountains onsite for refilling.
If your diver does not have the correct equipment, it is the coach's decision to determine if they can participate in the activity.
