
Committee and Contacts
The committee exists to support the coaches and divers, and develop the club.
As a club we are governed by Swim England which is on an unincorporated, not-for-profit basis. As such any member’s fees, competition charges, merchandise sales etc are all reinvested back into the club to allow us to as a minimum break-even and support growth and progression.
Volunteers are the backbone of many diving clubs and HDDC is no exception. If you are interested in joining the committee, please enquire with any of the contacts below - we are always grateful for additional help no matter how big or small and prior experience is not necessary! Example roles:

Supporting club operations and governance

Competition assistance (announcing (!), recording results, marshalls, competition fundraising etc)

Poolside helpers
Further, you do not need to have a specific role to be part of the committee. You can be a member and still have a vote.
Fundraising is vital for grassroots sport's clubs such as HDDC, and all funds that we raise are reinvested to ensure the club's sustainability, and grow in order to increase competition entry (including a home Harrogate competition and introduce new fun events such as an annual awards evening, etc. If you have an opportunity to help, or are aware of a possibility, please contact the fundraising officer or chair, per details below.
